WHO AM I?

Tania Collazos

She is an independent visual artist from Cali, Colombia

Her works evoke water, color, joy, and movement. Her creative approach is enriched by a multidisciplinary background: she is a psychologist from the Universidad del Valle, holds a master's degree in Psychology from the Universidad de San Buenaventura, and is a specialist in Art Mediation from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain

Since childhood, Tania has been deeply connected to the arts, developing a natural affinity for painting, her most authentic form of expression.

Her interest in exploring new techniques with precious and semi-precious materials led her to consolidate her training at the El Orfebre Cali Jewelry Academy in 2010. During this process, she began experimenting with epoxy resin, a material she quickly incorporated into her jewelry designs due to its versatility and unique ability to mimic water. Later, this exploration extended to her visual artworks, where resin became a key element for expressing movement and fluidity.

Tania combines metals, pigments, acrylics, and resins in compositions that convey life, movement, and transcendence. Through her works, she aims not only to express her vision of the world but also to create a deep and refreshing connection that invites viewers to feel calm, joyful, and genuinely connected.
